After weeks of harsh winter weather, Maritimers were surely excited to
see something other than snow flying across the sky Tuesday night.
A webcam in Halifax harbour captured a meteor as it shot through the sky and then burst into a glowing ball of fire.The aerial explosion was visible across the province, and as far away as Prince Edward Island.
