just rolled out a new program called "Youtube Heroes" within the past
few days, and as per usual they didn't really let anyone know. You might
think this is par for the course from a company who doesn't really make
a big stink about these sorts of things (ala the whole demonetization
fiasco) but they may have a more nefarious intent behind keeping this
somewhat hushed.
Mark (@Action_pts) and I (@GeekVariety) take a
look at youtubes service intro video for their "Heroes" initiative, and
try to breakdown and explain why this new service can potentially be the
end of youtube as we know it.
This isn't about click-bait and its not an exaggeration, the youtube party is truly over and people need to know about this.
Help spread the word and use the hashtag #NoMoreYoutubeHeroes to send a clear message that this is unacceptable.
