Nurse accused of swiping $1M from oncologist in Manhattan - NY Daily News
Dr. Mitchell Gaynor was a celebrated cancer physician who as noted above committed suicide. It is interesting that apparently the allegedly "stolen" funds weren't noticed until what seems an audit was done of late doctor's estate. One wonders if "financial" issues didn't contribute to the doctor committing suicide and thus was he not aware his nurse (allegedly) was stealing vast sums.
